In the first three experiments, during the FR 1 schedules, a mirror presentation always immediately followed the hoop swimming reaction. Lattal and Metzger 1994 showed that responding of male Bettas was obtained despite the fact that the mirror presentation did not automatically follow the response. This test examined not on time reinforcement with women. Four experimentally naïve females were uncovered to a tandem FR 1 differential reinforcement of other conduct DRO 10 s schedule. Thus, once the consultation started, when the fish swam through the ring, an unsignaled resetting 10 s delay was initiated cf. Lattal and Metzger, 1994.
