Some of the fish that can be fin nippers and which I does not put forward as companions for combating fish are Tiger Barbs, Red Eye Tetras, Serpae Tetras, Some Galaxies and Rosy Barbs. Another way of preserving combating fish is to use one of the Betta bins. These come under a few names, but are similar and allow a couple of male opponents to be kept in one aquarium. Another, similar, way of retaining opponents is to use a breeding tank which floats in an aquarium. Normally these are use for breeding fish akin to Guppies, but they may be able to also be used for preserving but not breeding Fighting Fish. There are a number of other alternatives for preserving combating fish.
